The Lord is bringing refreshing in the midst of the battle for many in this current season.

I recently had an encounter in prayer after several weeks of a combination of heavenly crushing and purification. During this vulnerable time, the enemy sought to bring several demonic attacks in an effort to get me to give up. In the prayer encounter, I was brought raisins by ministering angels for refreshing after a time period of travailing in the Spirit. That night I had a dream where a powerful prophet came to me and layed on hands on me and spoke a refreshing upon me. Over the last few days I have felt that the Lord wants me to release this word of encouragement to his people.

I am bringing refreshment for you in the battle, and in the wilderness. Not only will this refreshment bring you strength, but it will be a sign that the outcome will not be what you thought it would be – for I will save you from making detrimental mistakes, from fighting battles that are not yours. Every attack that Satan has tried to bring upon you will be used against him. For I make all things work together for the good of those who love me and who have been called according to my purpose.

You will find this refreshment in taking time out and in allowing yourself to rest in me. You will find that there is a very real and strong authority in your rest. Rest your body, rest your mind, put your pen and your figures and plans down for a little while. You will not miss an opportunity that is given by me because of resting in me. But you will miss the opportunities brought to you by Satan to distract you from your destiny.

Romans 8:28 – And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

2 Samuel 16:1 – When David had passed a little beyond the summit, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him, with a couple of donkeys saddled, bearing two hundred loaves of bread, a hundred bunches of raisins, a hundred of summer fruits, and a skin of wine.
