There are those who have (much like Prince John the storyline of Robin Hood) have taken on a role that was not theirs in the Kingdom of God. Follow with me here, in the legend of Robin Hood, Prince John has taken the throne illegitimately while the King was being held captive by the enemy. Robin Hood and his tribe take a stand against this and are treated as outlaws. Prince John was a ruler who constantly stole from the people in the Kingdom to store up wealth for himself, but Robin Hood made it his primary goal in the movie to get the wealth back to the people and to ultimately tear down the illegitimate authority.
There are people who in the Kingdom of God have taken positions that are not theirs. They have set themselves on thrones and are oppressive rulers over the people in their territory. The Lord began to speak to me this morning about this, with a foundational verse of:
Isaiah 3:14 -The LORD will enter into judgment with the elders and princes of his people: “It is you who have devoured the vineyard, the spoil of the poor is in your houses.
The Holy Spirit began to tell me this morning that he is calling out the Robin Hood Generation – this is a generation of His people who are fearless, cunning, and quick and they have the spiritual knowledge, skills and the head knowledge and skills to go into the strong-towers that those illegitimate authorities have set up and they will loot those places and return the spoils to the children of God who have been oppressed and STOLEN FROM. They will fight against illegitimate authority who will call them rebellious and out of line but the TRUTH is that they recognize TRUE authority and refuse to submit to ILLEGITIMATE authority. They will be like a thorn in the side of the false prophets and the false teachers, for they were born and created to tear down illegitimate authority. They do not fear, they are covert, and they enjoy the simple things in life. Their joy is not in material possessions so do not think that for a minute they are in it for the money – they are only in it for the justice for they will stand for what the Lord says is right. They are people who much like David will dwell in the tent of the Lord.
Psalm 61:4 – I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings.

amen, Jenn! the challenge for me is this: do i recognize the usurped authority, then dust off my feet and take my peace with me as i leave, or do i go back in and expose the truth, when most of the “players” are not willing to see truth. They are busy maintaining their “kingdom”, and propping one another up. In a season of prayer over this very situation.
