Who is Jesus and why we need Him alone.

Jesus Christ was more than just a great prophet. In many religions around the world, people have a variety of gods that they choose from. Each of those ‘gods’ have been attributed by man to have varying requirements, and do varying things for people. So what makes Jesus Christ different?

Jesus Christ came to the earth for one sole purpose, to be a perfect sacrifice so that whoever believes in him and him alone will be saved from not only eternity in hell, but also that they will receive power from the Holy Spirit that came after Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection. He is one with the one true God – Yhwh. Father God Yhwh, Son Christ Jesus and Holy Spirit are three in one and they all lead us to eternal victory!

Yes, that is right! Jesus is the only one who has defeated death and sin for you and I. There are no requirements to receive his salvation apart from trusting in Him, calling on his name and asking for forgiveness of your sins. While many other so called gods require you to do things for them, Jesus actually died for you! It is the most amazing gift of love and compassion. A relationship with Jesus is about committing your life to walking with and in him, it’s not about following all the ‘right’ rules.

We have all sinned, and Jesus died in our place, so that through our faith in him, we are saved. My friend I encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus today, seek after him and he will reveal himself and his love to you. No matter where you are or what you have done, if your heart is true in your calling upon him, you will receive him and his unending love.

Here are some scriptures to read on salvation:

Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Romans 5:8 – “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 10:9 – “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Romans 10:13 – “for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Romans 5:1 – “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Romans 8:1 teaches us, “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
(Because of our faith and belief in Jesus’ death on our behalf, we will never be condemned for our sins.)

Romans 8:38-39 “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

My friend, call upon the name of Jesus to reconcile you with God today, receive his salvation and you will receive joy and peace like you have never know before!
